Hello!
I'm Sarah Esther, originally from Alabama, but I currently live in Rome, Georgia where I graduated from Berry College and studied studio art and religion and philosophy.
This site is a collection of the different things I've created and stories of the places I have been and what I learned there. I hope they are an encouragement to you.
I think our journeys are the most beautiful parts of our stories because they reveal the beauty that exists within the messy, broken and mundane parts of our lives.
You will find a lot of my stories and art are embedded with reflections, insights and connections I see in the beautiful design of nature which is where I experience God the most clearly. I pray that you might experience God through the words I say and the art I create.

How it all began
I have loved art ever since I was little. I think it's because when we create things we tap into a whole new realm where people communicate through raw materials, emotions and feelings – the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. It gives us a way to connect with every person we come into contact with. That's what I want my art to do– connect with people. I want my art to be more than just paint on a canvas, but an experience anyone can participate in and appreciate no matter what language you speak. As Hegel's says in his Romantic Theory of Art, "An artist may even shed limitations to reach a higher plane of expression."
